Rafael Aranda Quiles, Carme Pigem Barceló i Ramon Vilalta Pujol
Founders RCR

Rafael (Olot, Spain, 1961), Carme (Olot, Spain, 1962) and Ramon (Vic, Spain, 1960) have been architects since 1987 by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura del Vallès (ETSAV-UPC) and have worked together since 1988 under the name of RCR ARQUITECTES together with a good team. They have studied for a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (1987-89). They have taught Architectural Projects in the Vallès and Barcelona and Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture in the Vallès. And in the summer, they have been organising and directing, since 2008, an international workshop of transversal disciplines at their headquarters.

Marta Subirós Bassols
Administrative management and control

Marta Subirós Bassols (Montagut, Spain, 1981) is an administrative management technician from the Bosc de la Coma Secondary School in Olot. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 1998.

Gemma Puigvert Molas
Directorate and Management for Resources

Gemma Puigvert Molas (Vall d’en Bas, Spain, 1978) is a draughtswoman, senior technician in Development and Application of Construction Projects and Mechanical Projects studied at the FP-IES La Garrotxa 1992-2002, with training in computer microsystems management. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 1998.

Gilles Trégouët
Associate Architect

Gilles Trégouët (Paris, France, 1974) graduated as an architect from the École d’Architecture de Bretagne, France, 2004. In 2016 he was an assistant professor at the Visiting Studio of the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC) and was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2017. He has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2005 and is co-author of the Soulages Museum in Rodez; the La Cuisine Art Centre in Nègrepelisse; the École du Soleil school group in Font Romeu, and the Malecaze House in Vieille-Toulouse; all built in France.

Ângela Moura
Associate Architect

Ângela Barroso Moura (Lisbon, Portugal, 1984) graduated as an architect from the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2006. She did an Erasmus stay at the Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy, in 2006. She enjoys DJing at friends’ gatherings. She was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2012 and 2013. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2007 and is co-author of the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf in Lagos, Portugal.

Idurre García Fernández (Mondragón, Spain, 1985) graduated as an architect from the University of Navarra, Spain, 2009. She participated in RCR’s I International Workshop on Architecture and Landscape in 2008. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2010.

Noèlia Baldayo Nebot
Architect

Noèlia Baldayo Nebot (Sagunto, Spain, 1978) graduated cum laude from the Valencia School of Architecture (ETSAV-UPV) in 2006. She made a stay with RCR Arquitectes in 2006 with an ARQUIA grant and collaborated in 2009. In addition, she was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2013. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes continuously since 2013.

Veronica Tavares de Vitoria (Aveiro, Portugal, 1984) graduated as an architect from the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2006. She did an Erasmus stay at the Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy, in 2006. She was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2012, 2013 and 2014. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2007.

Davide Sodero

Davide Sodero (Jesolo, Italy, 1988) graduated as an architect from the Università IUAV di Venezia, Italy, 2014. He did an Erasmus stay at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC), 2011. Master in Digital Architecture MADI by Università IUAV di Venezia, Italy, 2015. He has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2007.

Rafael Martínez Sarrión (Albacete, Spain, 1991) graduated cum laude from the Valencia School of Architecture (ETSAV-UPV), 2016. From 2015 to 2016, he collaborated with Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, Valencia. He was an assistant at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2019. He has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2016.

Marta Llop Santamaría (Logroño, Spain, 1992) graduated from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM), Spain, in 2017. She did an Erasmus stay at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Vienna, Austria, 2015. She has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2017.

Giulio Bassanello

Giulio Bassanello (Milan, Italy, 1992) graduated as an architect from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2017. He studied at the Universidade Lusíada in Lisbon, Portugal, from 2015 to 2016, and in 2017 he started his work experience as an assistant professor and architect in Milan. He has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2018.

Enrico Vito Sciannameo (Bari, Italy, 1993) graduated cum laude as an architect from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2018. He completed an Erasmus stay at the Technische Universiteit Delft, The Netherlands, during the 2015/2016 academic year. He has been collaborating with RCR Arquitectes since 2018.

Joan Puigcorbé Punzano
Partner Architect

Joan Puigcorbé (Barcelona, Spain, 1967) graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC) in 2000. He founded the PAAS architecture studio in Barcelona and Ripoll in 1995, the real estate development company Costa Rica Natural Design in 2008, and has won several international competitions. He has received recognition in the FAD 2013 awards, the Girona Awards in 2005 and 2013 and the René Frank Award in Costa Rica in 2012. He first collaborated with RCR Arquitectes from 2003 to 2010 and continuously since 2020. He is co-author of the La Lira Theater Public Space in Ripoll. In addition, he has been a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop from 2014 to 2020.

Mar Novell Puig
Executive Director

Mar Novell Puig (Lleida, Spain, 1975) graduated as a philologist from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1998. She has assumed different responsibilities in cultural management, communication, political and institutional offices and public relations. She worked in the magazine of political, economic and cultural activity Specchio Economico from 2003 to 2005, in the departments of Vice-Presidency and Culture of the Public Administration of the Government Catalonia from 2005 to 2020, in Dau al Sec Performing Arts Barcelona, in the communication agency Comèdia Comunicació & Media, among others. She has also collaborated on the Barnasants Author’s Song Network Culture project and the Arts in Health International Foundation (AiHIF). She collaborates with the RCR Bunka Foundation since 2021.

Andrea Buchner Anfruns
Cultural Promoter

Andrea Buchner Anfruns (Viña del Mar, Chile, 1969) graduated as an architect from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, in 1995 and holds a research degree from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM) in 2009. She specialises in disseminating architecture as a translator, editor, publisher, exhibition curator and cultural manager. From 1999 to 2015 she worked for the Spanish State Agencies Hannover 2000, Exposiciones Internacionales (SEEI) and Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) on the World Expo Hannover 2000, World Expo Aichi 2005, International Expo Zaragoza 2008, World Expo Shanghai 2010 and the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008. She collaborates with RCR since 2016.

Sílvia Brossa Marí
Tenant Farmer Lady at RCR la Vila

Sílvia Brossa Mari (Olot, Spain, 1965) holds a postgraduate in Performing Arts and Education from the Vic Institut del Teatre. In addition, she has a degree in Choreography and Performing Arts from the Barcelona Institut del Teatre. Furthermore, she has a postgraduate in Expression and Communication from the Barcelona Municipal School of Expression. She has worked for ten years as a performer with the Magnet and Burch Company, two seasons on a project for the Teatre Romea, and three years for the Els Joglars Company. In addition, she has created several short plays for different festivals and has extensive experience as a teacher, both with children and adults. She  collaborates with RCR Lab·A since 2018.

Maintenance and Gardening RCR La Vila

El Jilali (Berkane, Morocco, 1962). He has collaborated with RCR Lab·A since 2022.
