Rafael Aranda Quiles, Carme Pigem Barceló i Ramon Vilalta Pujol
Founders RCR
Rafael (Olot, Spain, 1961), Carme (Olot, Spain, 1962) and Ramon (Vic, Spain, 1960) have been architects since 1987 by the School of Architecture of Vallès (ETSAV-UPC) and have worked together since 1988 under the name of RCR ARQUITECTES together with a talented team. They pursued a Master in Landscape Architecture (1987-89). They have taught Architectural Design at the School of Architecture of Vallès (ETSAV-UPC), Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC), and Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture at ETSAV-UPC. Since 2008, they have organised and directed an international workshop on transversal disciplines at their headquarters during the summer.

Marta Subirós Bassols (Montagut, Spain, 1981) is an administrative management technician from the Bosc de la Coma Secondary School in Olot. Since 1998, she has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.
Gemma Puigvert Molas
Directorate and Management for Resources
Gemma Puigvert Molas (Vall d’en Bas, Spain, 1978) is a draughtswoman, senior technician in Development and Application of Construction Projects and Mechanical Projects studied at the FP-IES La Garrotxa 1992-2002, with training in computer microsystems management. Since 1998, she has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.

Gilles Trégouët
Associate Architect
Gilles Trégouët (Paris, France, 1974) graduated as an architect from the École d’Architecture de Bretagne, France, in 2004. In 2016, he was an assistant professor at the Visiting Studio of the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC) and was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2017. Since 2005, he has collaborated with RCR arquitectes and is co-author of the Soulages Museum in Rodez; the La Cuisine Art Centre in Nègrepelisse; the École du Soleil school group in Font Romeu; and the Malecaze House in Vieille-Toulouse, all of which were built in France.
Ângela Moura
Associate Architect
Ângela Barroso Moura (Lisbon, Portugal, 1984) graduated as an architect from the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2006. She undertook an Erasmus exchange at the Università degli Studi di Palermo in Italy in 2006. Music plays an important role in her life, and she regularly DJs at gatherings with friends. She was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2012 and 2013. She has collaborated with RCR arquitectes since 2007 and is co-author of the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf in Lagos, Portugal.

Idurre García Fernández (Mondragón, Spain, 1985) graduated as an architect from the University of Navarra, Spain, in 2009. She participated in RCR’s I International Workshop on Architecture and Landscape in 2008. Since 2010, she has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.
Noèlia Baldayo Nebot
Architect
Noèlia Baldayo Nebot (Sagunto, Spain, 1978) graduated cum laude from the Valencia School of Architecture (ETSAV-UPV) in 2006. She spent a stay with RCR Arquitectes in 2006 with an ARQUIA grant and collaborated in 2009. In addition, she was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop in 2013. Since 2013, she has collaborated continuously with RCR arquitectes.
Verônica Vitoriano

Verônica Tavares de Vitoriano (Aveiro, Portugal, 1984) graduated as an architect from the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2006. That same year, she undertook an Erasmus exchange at the Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy. She was a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop from 2012 to 2014. She has collaborated with RCR arquitectes since 2007.
Giulio Bassanello

Giulio Bassanello (Milan, Italy, 1992) graduated as an architect from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2017. He studied at the Universidade Lusíada in Lisbon, Portugal, from 2015 to 2016, and in 2017 he began his career as an assistant professor and architect in Milan. Since 2018, he has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.

Enrico Vito Sciannameo (Bari, Italy, 1993) graduated cum laude as an architect from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2018. He completed an Erasmus stay at the Technische Universiteit Delft, The Netherlands, during the 2015/2016 academic year. Since 2018, he has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.

Lizet Ledesma Urquieta (Mexico City, Mexico, 1999) is an architect from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She participated in an Erasmus program at the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB-UPC) in 2021- 2022. Since 2022, she has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.

Rubén Lahuerta Morales (Zaragoza, Spain, 1994) graduated as an architect from the School of Engineering and Architecture of Zaragoza (EINA) in 2019 and completed the qualifying master’s degree at the University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH) in 2021. In 2022, he will be staying with the ARQUIA scholarship at RCR. Since 2022, he has collaborated with RCR arquitectes.

Joan Puigcorbé Punzano
Partner Architect
Joan Puigcorbé (Barcelona, Spain, 1967) graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB-UPC) in 2000. He founded the PAAS architecture studio in Barcelona and Ripoll in 1995, the real estate development company Costa Rica Natural Design in 2008, and has won several international competitions. He has received recognition in the FAD 2013 awards, the Girona Awards in 2005 and 2013 and the René Frank Award in Costa Rica in 2012. He first collaborated with RCR arquitectes from 2003 to 2010 and continuously since 2020. He is co-author of the La Lira Theater Public Space in Ripoll. In addition, he has been a tutor at the RCR Summer Workshop from 2014 to 2020.

Mar Novell Puig (Lleida, Spain, 1975) graduated in Philology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1998. She has held various positions in cultural management, communication, political and institutional offices, and public relations. She worked for the political, economic and cultural affairs magazine Specchio Economico from 2003 to 2005; in the Vice-Presidency and Culture departments of the Administration of the Government of Catalonia from 2005 to 2020; at Dau al Sec Performing Arts Barcelona and at the communication agency Comèdia Comunicació & Media, among others. She has also collaborated on the Barnasants Author’s Song Network Culture project and with the Arts in Health International Foundation (AiHIF). Since 2021, she has collaborated with the RCR Bunka Foundation.
Laura Llimona Cortés
General Coordination of the RCR Summer Workshop / Guided Tours of RCR arquitectes’ work
Laura Llimona Cortés (Palma de Mallorca, Spain, 1983) holds a degree in Performing Arts from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona (2004-2008) and trained in the Meisner acting technique (2010-2012), developing her acting career in theatre productions, short films and commercials. She completed a Master’s degree in Cultural Management at UIC, with internships in production and public relations for the GREC Festival (2008-2009), and in 2018 was part of production teams for various audiovisual projects. Between 2019 and 2023, she studied for a degree in Spatial Design at ELISAVA, with an internship at CRUDE (2021), and worked as a designer at the Torndelacreu studio (2021-2025). Since 2024, she has collaborated with RCR Bunka to organise guided tours of RCR’s work, drawing on her experience as a tour guide for English-speaking groups (2016-2023) and her role as assistant coordinator of the RCR Summer Workshop.
Helena Aguilar Mayans
Guided tours of the work of RCR arquitectes
Helena Aguilar Mayans (Olot, Spain, 1989) is a fine art photographer with a degree in Fine Arts and a master’s in art education from the University of Barcelona. Her work explores the concept of beauty in decay, women’s spaces, and the relationship between ruins, nature, and humanity. Her photographic work has been published and exhibited in various countries and media. She is an official guide for RCR Arquitectes, specializing in their architectural vision. With years of experience in cultural and educational fields, she possesses the necessary skills to effectively guide and communicate with visitors. Since 2016, she has collaborated with RCR Bunka.

Andrea Buchner Anfruns
Cultural Development / Director of RCR Workshops / Digital Communication
Andrea Buchner Anfruns (Viña del Mar, Chile, 1969) earned her architecture degree from Technische Universität München (TUM) in 1995 and a research qualification from Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM) in 2009. She specialises in architectural dissemination and has served as a translator, writer, editor, exhibition curator, and cultural manager. From 1999 to 2015, she contributed to Spanish agencies such as Hannover 2000, SEEI, and AC/E, participating in major projects including the World Expos in Hannover 2000, Aichi 2005, Shanghai 2010, Zaragoza 2008, and the Venice Architecture Biennale 2008. Since 2016, she has been collaborating with RCR as a cultural development manager, directing the RCR Summer Workshop and the Workshops at RCR La Vila, curating the RCR Open Program, and leading printed, audiovisual, and digital communication efforts.
Gerard Carrasquilla Guasch
Host of RCR la Vila
Gerard Carrasquilla Guasch (Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain, 1998) holds a degree in Humanities from Pompeu Fabra University, specialising in Modern and Contemporary Studies. He also has a master’s degree in Secondary School Teacher Training, focusing on philosophy. His work experience in culture, construction, and bio-construction has provided him with valuable skills in collaborative work and a passion for continuous improvement. Additionally, he holds an intermediate music and classical guitar degree from the Mestre Montserrat Conservatory in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona. Since 2024, he has collaborated with RCR Lab·A.
